We are going down to WDW in Oct and I was thinking of stocking up on Virginia pins here at home for my DD to use to trade down there - do you think they'd be something other traders would want? Or would everyone who wanted one already have it; what about CMs would they like them? We are new to this, actually currently own only eight pins  but as my husband pointed out last night DD and I are really getting in to it.

I have 30+ NE to trade with CM's at WDW. (and a handful of IA.)
I bought LOTS of extras to trade with CM's because of BOGO sale at the DS.
I figure store pins will now be plentiful at WDW. And not everyone will be unloading NE pins. :)
I think the state pins (not just NE) will be a welcome relief on the park lanyards.
When we were at the pin meets in May, MoM state pins weren't a hot commodity even then. "Too common" for most of those traders, as one directly told me.

We had our grandson (GUPPY) in WDW last month. In addition to collecting Cast lanyard pins, he thought it was fun to see how many different state pins he could find. He probably will eventually trade them away on another trip, but it was fun looking for different ones. He only managed about 6 different ones and LOTS of lanyard pins. But now that the DS has had them on sale, there should be alot of state pins out there. I personally bought 2 BOXes of MD pins to trade. All together I bought over 100 DS pins to trade. I have 3 trips coming up, so was stocking up. I will be nice seeing lots of different pins on the CM lanyards.

We have the state (shapes), not the state flags. We just traded the last state flag away in June.
