Oh my goodness... I just went to that link and I realized that is exactly where we stayed prior to our first cruise (and our honeymoon) December 2001. Those rooms were very nice.
This was before we were Starwood members so I guess that's why I didn't relate the two.
We stayed at the Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport after a weeklong stay at the Vistana Resort. It cost us 3,000 Starpoints for a weekend night and gave us one more day at the World.

The current Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport has been rebranded several times. Back in December 2001, it was probably still the Doubletree Guest Suites. Before that, it was the GuestQuarters Suites.
I stayed there under the previous brand names, and it was a good property. I recall reading that as part of the transformation into Sheraton Suites, they invested several million dollars in renovations and upgrading.
Don't forget the Swan and Dolphin! They're not really near the airport or port, but they are near someplace else that's kinda special..... (besides, those beds are worth the trip alone!)

The pictures of the suites look exactly as they did when we stayed there. I'll have to look through my paperwork from DEC01 to see what the name of it was back then.
