Starwood - hoe many points for a free upgrade at the S/D ?

We are Starwood members. We love the Dolphin resort in EPCOT area.
We currently have about 4,000 points. Not enough for a nights stay - but how many points for a free upgrade ? Such as Standard to Lake view or Lake view to Resort view ?

Any one had a free upgrade with Starwood points ?

Looks like you can get a specialty 1 upgrade for 1,000pts, a specialty 2 upgrade for 1,500pts, and a suite upgrade for 10,000pts per night...

and stayed at the Dolphin (and LOVED IT!!!!!). The upgrade was for us to Club Level was 1,500 a night. Luckly, we had it! We purchased CL but asked for a room near Epcot with a balcony. It made a walk to the CL for breakfast but the view and balcony was worth it!

We LOVE the Dolphin and the CL breakfast is a great treat!
