Starwars fireworks at Hollywood Studios

So my husband decided today that he wants to do the starwars fireworks. We have an anytime fp for tomorrow, can we use it on these? If not, where's a good viewing slot and how early should we get there?

Reiterating @Robo ’s advice above is spot-on, having attended last week. I found a spot centerline between the two projection towers (#2 on the map), a little further back than normal due to the mobile stage (#3) that did not move that night.

It wasn't just on your night, the stages have remained in that spot for at least a week. They've encountered a kind of embarrassing situation. Some structural engineer either didn't calculate correctly or didn't calculate at all.

We did it last week. The dessert party viewing area is near #3 on the map.

Yup, it's the raised area where the Sorcerer's hat was located. It's directly behind the stage.

It's not a perfect view but if you want to be seated, I would suggest the tables between Echo Lake and #2 on the map. If you get there 30 min before the show you should be able to get a nice view and be seated.

I wish they scheduled the Star Wars fireworks just a little later to allow time for guests to enjoy both Fantasmic and this. We always run from one to the other.

1. There are nights when the Star Wars fireworks are presented BEFORE Fantasmic!
2. There are nights when the two shows are scheduled in such a way as no amount of "running" would allow
both shows to be seen.
3. The "tight scheduling" is done intentionally.

I was there last year and we sat right in the middle of the square. We were talking to one of the crowd control cast members who was there to help set up walk ways through the crowds. He sat us down right in front of him and we were essentially the first part of the row without anyone standing in front of us. We had a perfect viewing angle.

Get there early and find a cast member directing traffic. He'll tell you where they plan to cordon off pathways.

We saw it from between the two projection towers and had a great view of everything. At least when we were there, some of the area in front of us was roped off for different package viewing options (dessert packages , etc).

Unless it has changed, roughly 1/4 or 1/3 of the way back in the Green area with a walking path in front of it. Still plenty of people in front of you and not a great viewing point for children.

The children in my party are teenagers. We'll be fine. I didn't know where it was at all. I know its close. I think we'll live. Having a reserved spot is worth it to me even if we have a diminished viewing area
