After reading so many posts about maximizing the DDP and wives using Disney restaurants to help their husbands enjoy the trip, I am wondering whether I should change some of my ADRs. Here's what I have so far:

CRT for lunch (haven't yet convinced DH that he should skip this one and let me take DSD alone)
Coral Reef for dinner
Ohana for dinner
Chef Mickeys for dinner
Sci Fi for lunch (will the kids like this even if they get to go to a real drive in theater all the time?)

Also, I still need to add one TS ADR, probably outside of a park. Suggestions?

We lost our Drive Ins years ago, but Scifi is good, just more upscale than the greasy dives that make up true drive inn food. (which was some of the best stuff on earth) I think they will enjoy it.

DH should enjoy your selections as they are good, but at Ohana and CM he can eat until he can't move. Most men do like to do that.

You don't have a meat and potato type place mentioned so I would try Yachtsman's steakhouse for your outside park TS.

My DH loves CRT's...he loves how the princesses treat our dd's and how excited they get...he wouldn't miss it!

We really enjoyed BOMA's. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful and the food is very good for a buffet. Chef Mickey's was our least favorite...service was horrible...food was dry and cool...and charcaters were rushed...alot of people have a wonderful time there and maybe it was just that night. We really enjoyed CP...the food, service and characters were great.

On all our previous trips we found the meals we book right as the restaurant opens for that meal we enjoy alot more then other times. We went to CRT at 10:40 and were very dissapointed...we went on our last trip at 8:05 and loved it. The same with CM...our ressie was for 6:30...not very good...but at CP our ressie was for 4:05...GREAT. At BOMA's we ate at 5:15...GREAT. We also found that the lines for rides were less during normal meal times so by eating at the early times we just had a overall better time.

Have a great trip!

I second guess mine all the time! To keep Dh coming along I give him 10 menus for our 6 day trip. (This way I prescreen for foods DD and I like, atmosphere, park location, etc.) Then he picks his top 6, I move them around to fit our park of the day and everyone is happy!

Dh loves buffets and any place with a decent steak. His repeats for this year are Le Cellier and Coral Reef. Maybe give him a choice between Wolfgang in DTD, Spoodles on the boardwalk, and yachtsman was fantastic (but 2 ts)!
