Here is my plan so far. We'll be staying at the Pop Century resort.
Oct. 3rd - arrive; head to Downtown Disney and pick up bride & groom ears; dinner: either Wolfgang Puck's cafe or Rainforest Cafe
Oct. 4th - go to Epcot in the morning; eat at Alfredo's for lunch?; go to MGM in the evening; set up Fantasmic package? *It doesn't seem as though these packages are really worth it. What other restaurant choices are there for dinner? Would it be best to watch the Fantasmic show and head to one of the resorts for dinner?
Oct. 5th - Entire day at the Magic Kingdom; Crystal Palace for lunch or Cinderella's round table -- which is better?; California Grill for dinner
Oct. 6th - Should we do both water parks in one day? Should we split them up into two separate days? One water park in the morning, somewhere else for the evening/dinner? Maybe the arcade in downtown disney?
Oct. 7th - Water park in the morning?; Magic Kingdom in the evening - Mickey's Halloween party (do you have to dress up?? can someone give me a breakdown as to what exactly happens here?)
Oct. 8th - Not sure??
Oct. 9th - Depart
We're not really interested in the Animal Kingdom. We'd probably only go if we had already seen everything else.
Also, can someone give me some info re: transportation? How easy is it to hop around from park to park, resort to resort, park to resort using the transporation? Is it very time consuming? For instance, let's say we're at the Magic Kingdom, and we want to get to the California Grill for dinner to watch the fireworks... how far in advance would we want to leave the the park so we got to the restaurant on time?? Anymore advice on getting around would be helpful.

I would only consider it time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. The California Grill is located in the Contemporary Resort and you CAN walk from the MK to the Contemporary if you wish, about 10 minutes, OR you can catch the monorail and be there in 2 minutes less!
Hubby and I did a lot of driving while we were there when we went to dinner at the resorts or to Downtown Disney, but we did the Disney transportation when going from one park to another, or from our resort at the Allstars to a park. The longest wait we ever had was 45 minutes, but still made our 8:30am breakfast ressies on time, because we were in line at 7:15 waiting on the AK bus.
