starting to get nervous about crowds in Jan

when early 2016 discounts came out I made our ressies and saved $150 at the CBR for the 2 of us

then I got the unquie code offer so when I called there were no standard rooms available

so Ive been checking at least once a day and so far no luck

however now I getting alittle worried about crowds if there no standard for 1-27 thru 2-2 Im afraid it might be busier then were used to the end ofJan

I called as I got the code in the mail--it would have saved another $150

oh Ill keep trying until we get there!!

We were in a similar situation when we received our unique offer code for our upcoming January trip. By phone the cast member tried to tell me that it was sold out, but when i got online I was able to find rooms with the unique offer code. Not sure why the CM couldn't see them too. I was able to get the extra discount that way.

It seems like Disney isn't offering as many rooms at a discount lately. Maybe that is why?

We are going in January too and I have the same thoughts. When we booked our July trip there was tons of room options available and we got a LOT better rates on the same two hotels (Poly/BC). I swear ADR's were easier in July too. I just can't get over the lack of resort room availability when I check for Jan.

Some January days are busier than others, but it is nothing like Christmas/NYE, spring break, or the summer. As always, get to the park at opening and you can do lots of rides with little or no wait.

I think there a marathon or half marathon around those dates.

There is a marathon the 6-10th and another half one (Star Wars) the 14-17th. We also booked for the last weekend of Jan and only had preferred rooms at the discounted/ special promotions.
