Starting the countdown!

We still have MONTHS before our Disney trip, but I am trying to get the kids all excited for it (not a hard thing to do!).

Tomorrow we are starting our official family countdown. We have decided that every Friday night will be family countdown night - we are going to watch a Disney movie and do a theme night around it (I saw the WONDERFUL thread with ideas here!).

Tomorrow is going to be Toy Story - and we're going to make Pizza Planet pizzas for dinner and have Buzz Lightyear Cosmic Brownies for dessert!

I think we are going to make a countdown poster too - I am thinking a posterboard with a grid-like countdown chart? Maybe we'll post Mickey Head cutouts each week - until we get to a picture of the castle? Anyone have other ideas of a countdown chart we could make?

Someone on a thread here sent me a Disney countdown, which I love. I would post it, but I don't know how (it is a PDF file). If you want to e-mail me, I can send it to you. Again, I didn't make it, and whoever did did an AWESOME job.
