Started Weight Watchers!!

I started weight watchers last Monday - which would have been February 28th. I had already posted a 5 pound goal for the St. Patty's Day challenge here and I was ready to get started. I use Saturday as my weigh in day and then use my flex points on the weekends. By weighing in on Saturday it motivates me to be good all week and save my flex points for the weekend when I'm more likely to cheat....so with the flex points I can. My first weigh-in I lost 5 pounds!! WooHoo!!! I'm so excited to weigh tomorrow I can't stand it. I did have a danish today that I haven't calculated the points (OH NO - it's going to be really high) but I'm going to stay on plan this evening and go scrapbook and have a great time!! Just wanted to share with you and by telling someone I have a little accountability. I'm going to start a Monday check-in thread if there isn't one already - just for myself, but anyone who wants to post to it is welcome!!
 
Way to go! 5 lbs. the first week is awesome!

Keep up the good work - slow & steady and you'll get there in no time. I totally agree with your thoughts on accountability - I post after I weigh in every week on the WW thread.

Congratulations on joining WW and losing your first 5 pounds. The first couple of weeks the weight seems to come off pretty quickly. Don't get discourged when it slows down. Try starting a journal and writing everything down, it seems to help.
