Started the ball rolling

On the extension for the house,had an architect down to go over things today.Sees no problem with what we plan to do,mesured up everything now gone away to draw up plans.
As under 70m2 no nead for planning aproval but will have to get building reg concent
Next stage in about 2 weeks look at drawings(planning) send of then if not neaded planning aproval for building regs
So hopefully spade in ground in about 2 months

We sent in rough drawings to our council before Xmas - never heard anything. When I rang they could tell they'd received something but couldn't find it! So now we have to send again.

As were taking vurtualy the whole back wall down downstairs were doing full drawings
But should have only taken a couple of weeks for you to have heard weather you neaded planning permision,if you dont nead planning but nead building regs you can still start strat away,good luck

Thanks Paul - we will need full drawings too but the council said they would come out to have a quick look before we put in the application.
