Started new Job and already a problem

I have to say, my last job I was at forever (7 years).

Started the new job yesterday and when I came in I wasn't quite sure why I was put where I was put desk wise. Well after about 45 minutes I understood perfectly. The woman whom I will be working with (for) spends the entire day sighing and yawning and making all kinds of sounds. OMG I wanted to kill her. The others in the office who's desks are behind us in the next open room were cracking up by 10:15.

Does anyone work with someone like this? How do you handle it. After lunch I noticed she got louder and more frequent and the rest of the office crew just turned their music louder. They sort of let me know that someone else worked the position for about 4 days and then just didn't come back.

Headphones... I have a couple of very loud cubemates! One smacks gum all day (a pet peeve of mine), one cunches chips really really loudly 3 times a day, and the other playes their music so loud I can hear it perfectly. So I have headphones (the ones that go in the ear) and I don't have to play it very loudly to help drown out the rest
