Start of Poly Wedding

Where do you start walking from for weddings at the Polynesian? I know you have to show up to the resort in your wedding attire, so I figure they don't have a special place for the bride to wait. Where does the bride wait before walking up the path to Sunset Pointe?

Not 100% sure, but they must have a waiting room for the bride to do some last minute makeup, dress, and hair adjustments. We are also getting married at the Polynesian soon, but fortunately we are also staying at the resort.

The groom (me) is to meet the officiant, wedding planner and photographer in the lobby 45 minutes prior to the ceremony. The wedding planner then meets the bride in our room 15 minutes prior and brings her to Sunset Point. The bride and groom are kept separate until the actual ceremony, unless instructed otherwise.

Just fyi...there's no touch-up room at the Poly.

When you meet your coordinator in the lobby, they will take you through the building and have you get in a golf cart to take you over to Sunset Pointe--it is quite a hike from the main building. You'll get a ride all the way out to the path at Sunset Pointe, and more than likely you'll start your "walk" about halfway up the path. It's a long path, and if there's been any rain, it pools at the bottom of the path. I was all ready to walk the full path, but it had rained the day before and the bottom of the path was still wet so my coordiantor didn't want me stepping into anything messy with my dress.
