If I am taking DD who will be barely 6 on our next trip, to CRT, should I make ADRs for the day we get there, sometime in the middle of the week or closer to the end of the week? I was thinking it would be a cool way to start the week but then I was concerned that CRT would be the highlight for her and the rest of the week would be downhill. Suggestions?

I beleive you know the child a bit better than most of us here. ;)

But don't sweat WHEN to do it...

Sweat GETTING an ADR.

Make one as soon as you can.

It would be fun on any day you do it.

If you have an event like a birthday, I'd shoot for that. Barring that, I'd take what you can get given the difficulties in getting any ADR for CRT.

My dd is a bit younger, 4, but I decided to try to get an ADR for the beginning of the trip. The reasoning was that her main goal in life is to see the castle and the princesses and I figured it was better to get it out of the way so that she could enjoy other things later in the week and not be obsessed and nagging me the whole time about seeing the princesses. I got an ADR for 8:15am on the first morning of our trip so that way we can get to the castle right away and then be ready to enjoy the MK right as the park opens.
