Which direction does this parade go? From Star Tours toward Main Gate or the opposite direction?

It starts near star tours and goes toward main gate. I believe it turns as it gets close to the main gate area down toward the Tower of terror.

It turns away from ToT. Actually, if you think of it, the route is much like the mid-day parade at MK, at least in the direction. It loops around so they can get everything in order the next day. It starts between Star Tours and Indy (almost in the same place as Adventureland in regards to layout), goes towards the center of the park, comes down MGM's version of Main Street and turns right near the entrance, by the movie memorabilia shack/shop (which is about where the firehouse would be at MK).

That I couldn't tell you. I once caught it at the start (having just gotten out of Star Tours) and at the end, when I had just returned to the park.

No, Sci-Fi is the other side of Star Tours. The parade goes from Star Tours runs in front of Sounds Dangerous, turns right at the big hat, down the main st and ends next to Sid Cahuenga's house.
