Stars At Christmas Taping?????

I am trying to find out what stars and what days they will be at the WDW Christmas Parade Taping on 12-1-06 to 12-3-06 with Regis and Kelly. We have never been to the taping and promised our DD9 last year that we would take her this year. She wants to see the Disney Channel stars and we are trying to find out if they are there all 3 days or just on one? If anybody out there can help us we would REALLY apprciate it, Thanks!!!

Hello! I'll see you there, I'm going on the same days. As far as I know they don't let anyone know ahead of time who will be there. I have been trying to find this out too. I think the stars are mostly there on the Saturday.

If Saturday is the day then we are good...we are passholders and were able to sign up for a special viewing of the parade last week. The only bad part is we have to be at the park at 7:00 AM and I am not a morning person, but I will do anything to make my little girls heart happy!!! Maybe someone will post with some more help for us?

No we will be driving to the park from AK lodge. We were originally supposed to be there from 11-30 to 12-6 but my DD9 has been very sick with bronchitis and can not miss any more school. So now we will only be there from 12-1 to 12-3, BOO HOO. Where you staying?

We will be there December 1st and 2nd, 2006. It is that Saturday when Regis and Kelly are taping? Will the park be extra crowded on Saturday?

From what I can gather the park gets busy during the taping on Main street but the rest of the park is not too bad. We have never been there during the taping and absolutely can not wait!!

I'm not so sure celebraties are there for that portion of the taping. I've not seen them in the past. I know as it gets closer to Christmas, I've seen surprise taping, of various portions of the concerts, we saw orlando bloom, and charlotte church. That was around the week before Christmas. I'm not saying they won't be there though, so maybe you'll get lucky.

Not sure what celebs will be there. But make sure your kids know what they're getting into it. It actually gets pretty boring. Your talking like 6 hours of standing up and not even getting to view the entire parade. They tape it in sections and film the same sections of the parade over and over and over again. Not trying to sound mean, I just know that my first time at the parade taping was not what I expected So you might want to let your daughter know what to expect. I hope you guys have a great time though and I wish you guys lots of luck in seeing the celebs you want!!

My daughter has been begging to go to MK on Dec. 2 to see the taping. I'm declining! LOL I know that the park will be packed, and since we arrive that day (driving down), not so sure I'll be up for such a crowd. We'll have to hope that we will see some celebrities walking around Epcot on Dec. 3. lol

I just read on another thread that the celebs are there Friday. Does anyone know what day Regis and Kelly were there last year?

Last year they taped a few celebrities Friday and then did the parade portions Saturday with Regis and Kelly there.

The other parks have celebs too taping their portions on various days and then its all put together for Christmas morning.

The parade portion is very slow, long and boring. The parade is a stop and go experience and not the whole parade at once. It takes all day.

The celebrities taping is a little more interesting but can also get boring and tiresome. We saw Vanessa Williams and John Hurley when we were there last December (Friday).

IT WAS ON THE PASSHOLDER WEBSITE BUT THE LAST TIME I CHECKED TO ADD MY NEICE TO OUR CONFIRMATION THEY WERE NOT TAKING ANY MORE RESERVATIONS. i AM HOPING THAT THEY OPEN UP MORE SPOTS AND WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SEE IF THEY DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT FOR FRIDAY 12-1?
