The sandwiches are huge and this is a great place if you are on the dining plan. They have some of the best desserts you can get with the DDP for a CS!!! My kids will sometimes just eat some of my turkey or ham off of my sandwich, some fruit and be done for their meal.

I am really disappointed with this. I will not being eating here if my DD6 only option is an uncrustable. I am planning on bringing a PB sandwich with us into the park, so unless she is in the mood for that then I will be skipping. It doesn't seem right that it would be only one option and such a poor one to boot!!!!
Personally I'm fine with the children's choice for my boys (they both love uncrustables). But if I had a child who was allergic to peanuts I would be concerned with going there and would choose a different place.
Disney's usually pretty good at making accommodations for allergies, but sometimes they do not make the same accommodations regarding preferences or what Disney calls "lifestyle choices."
At any rate it is still only a problem to guests on the dining plan (assuming there is something on the regular menu that a child will eat)

Precisely right! Which is why DH and I will re-examine whether or not the DDP will work for us on each and every Disney trip. Right now my kids are little and will only be 3 and 5 when we go in July. So they enjoy the typical kids' food you see on the Disney menus. A choice of 2 items is fine for them, and one item is usually something they like to eat anyway. But as they get older and more adventurous (but under age 10 and still considered a child on the plan), we will have to re-assess and see if the plan is good enough for them or if we should just pay OOP so they can expand their choices to suit their tastes. After all, it's their vacation too and they should enjoy themselves!
