Starring Rolls Cafe- what do you get?

I think the Studios has the worst food options, especially CS. I see Starring Rolls Cafe at DHS is available for CS option. What have you eaten there for lunch or dinner CS meal? We have enjoyed the pastries at Starring Rolls (as well as the Grapefruit Cake from HBD next door) but have never had a sandwich. Does the CS meal include sandwich and pastry?

Last year I had a lunch here on the DDP. I got a sandwich with my choice of chips or fruit for entree, any pastry for desert and a large drink. The turkey sandwich I got was fantastic. They only had 3-4 choices, but they all sounded good. The pastry selection was nice, but my husband (who had already had lunch elsewhere) decided he needed something more and got a cinnamon roll. It looked good.

I ate my lunch while watching the Lights Motor Action stunt show. Sometimes it pays to be picky and refuse to eat a burger when other people do.

I actually think this is one of the best CS lunches out there---and it seems to be a well kept secret. They serve two or three wonderful sandwhiches. They are all slices of a large foccacia loaf. Last time I was there I think I had smoked turkey, gouda and some other yummy stuff! The sandwiches are huge and you could easily share.

Then, as the other poster mentioned, you get a fruit or chips and any of their delicious pasteries.

I do this for lunch every time I am in the Studios and I always enjoy it!!

I eat there every time I go to that park (whatever they're calling it this year!). The sandwiches are huge, and beat any other CS there hands down.

I just ate there a few months ago. This is one of my all-time favorite CS. You get a HUGE sandwich. I got turkey and brie. DH and friends got Black forest ham. There was also a really nice looking veggie sandwich, but I was in the mood for meat. The focaccia bread is sooo yummy. We all got large drinks, chips and a pastry for dessert. The only thing you couldn't get for dessert was the taffy apple. Everything else was included. I got a chocolate cake that had a dark chocolate ganache. DH had a strawberry shortcake that had alot of fresh strawberries. DF got a cheesecake brownie that was huge. DFW got a fruit tart. Later, we used snack credits for chocolate chip cookies.

I can't repeat how much I LOVE this CS. It is the bomb.

I ate there last May on the DDP. I got a huge ham sandwich made with black forest ham on focaccia bread, a bag of chips, a large soda, and some sort of parfait thingy (it was like banana pudding with nuts and chocolate layers). It was surprisingly good. We don't usually eat at MGM, instead preferring to take the boat over to Epcot for lunch. However, Starring Rolls was a pleasant surprise.
