I cannot wait to try Starring Rolls this trip! If we use a Counter Service Credit to eat do we get to choose one of the AWESOME cupcakes for our dessert???:worship:

I would love to know too.......I honestly never knew that they had counter service until I read it here. :goodvibes

Yes.

I think it's a great value for a CS credit: you get one of the sandwiches (2 choices: ham or turkey) plus your choice of a big bag of chips (multiple varieties) or a piece of whole fruit, plus your beverage, plus your choice of anything in the bakery counter.

IMHO: the Butterfinger cupcake was good. The Red Velvet was better. :thumbsup2

This was one of those locations where DH and I strictly enforced the family rule that we MUST each order different items and share!

do keep in mind that Starring Rolls closes early (4:00 PM) so it really is lunch only...and when they run out of something for the day, that's it. We have been there at 1:00 on a busy day, and they were already down to one sandwich choice and most of the dessert choices were gone (was down to one type of cupcake, a couple of muffin choices, some cookie choices and then a couple of refrigerated dessert choices.) Seating is also limited, though the actual store area is very small so you can have what looks like a long line out the door when it's really only 1/2 dozen people ahead of you. But if you want full choices, get there early for lunch. (last time we were there, it was 3 sandwich choices: one had ham, one had turkey and one was veggie sandwich. Don't know if they still carry the veggie sandwich or not.)

Also, the sandwiches are all pre-made so there's no special order if you don't care for the dressing or whatever. We had guests with us that just about had a hissy-fit because they couldn't get the dressing on the side (even though I gave them full descriptions of the 3 sandwich choices in advance and told them the sandwiches came as-is, no changes.)

Thanks for that information. I am glad that I have that information regarding when they close and to get there early. I can work it into our plans for the day. Thanks! :thumbsup2

When we were there in February, the only thing on the kids menu was peanut butter uncrustables sandwich which came with packaged grapes or applesauce...we didn't have kids with us, but the family in front of us was getting a couple of kids meals and they were not happy about no choices for the kids. They also got a pre-packaged cookie (not a choices of desserts for kids, just the single-pack cookie.)

I'll second Catne's experience - the kids' menu there is the worst in Disney in my opinion. They just threw an Uncrustable PB&J (which are gross at best - not one of my 3 kids will eat them) and that pathetic cookie on the menu to stop the use of kids' credits for the good sandwiches & desserts. Fortunately the good stuff is of ample size for sharing.
