Since I've been to Aulani (when it first opened) someone asked me about crowds in February.
So I'm asking you experts 2 questions:
1. How are crowds in February?
2. I read a review on tripadvisor that the Starlit Hui is no more. Is that true? I knew it had been moved, but I didn't know it had been dropped.
Thanks.

we are here now. The front desk told us this finished like 3 weeks ago. We were very disappointed

They replaced the Starlit Hui with a pay to play Laua type event in its place with food etc.

PPs are correct- I believe in November, the new luau show will be begin and it will be for a cost, and will serve dinner. My guess is something comparable to a traditional luau like Paradise Cove down the street. I'd assume they want to keep guests onsite.

I can't speak to crowd levels in February, but I have read it's peak season with it being winter and also prime whale season as well. I would also say to avoid President's Day/Week due to school breaks.

We go in February every year, typically when the kiddo is on mid-winter/Presidents week break. Because we go during a school holiday, it is PACKED. I am not sure about other times during the month tho.

We went the first week of February 1.5 years ago and I didn't think the crowds were bad at all. There were certainly people there, but it didn't feel too packed to me. We are going again, but this time Presidents Day week and I can tell you that it seems like crowds are going to be bad that week - as I have monitored room prices, I've watched entire categories of rooms sell out and that didn't happen when we went before (1st week).

We have been the week of Presidents' Day the last two years and both weeks were at capacity. Just make sure any dining and spa appointments are made as soon as your can, and pre-register kids for aunty's. Pool was busy but manageable, and I had to get up early for chairs but I was up anyway for the am beach exercises classes. The chair policy is changed now I believe, hopefully it helps. The beach was for the most part fine and always had chairs but not shaded.
