Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?

Yes, we thought that it was well worth it.

My husband and I did this last January. We enjoyed it thoroughly. You leave from Kidani on a jeep with a CM who explains lots of details about the animals and their care. You drive through the savannah at the AKL and have night vision goggles to wear to see the animals. We saw lots of animals up close! The night time atmosphere was nicer than I thought that it would be, intimate.We stopped often and our guide was receptive to answering questions. It was a small group of about 6 people when we went.

At the end of the ride you receive a small gift. I'm not sure now, how long it was? Perhaps 2 hours? It felt just about right to me.

We were staying in Jambo House so we simply walked home afterwards. Very nice way to spend an evening.

I think up to six months??

You use (407) 939-7529 and speak to someone in recreation, and you pay by credit card when you reserve. (But you can cancel as long as it's more than two days ahead.)
