Starbucks

We will make a special trip over to the Orlando Premium Outlet Mall just for a Starbucks fix (and to shop of course ;)). I love my Chai Tea Lattés and DH, his coffee.

A Starbucks near DTD? Excellent! SSR is close enough - I can do that! Why can't Disney strike a deal with Starbucks? Or Dunkin Donuts, or WaWa, or 7-11? Anyone with good coffee - instead of Nestles coffee?

For a good coffee buzz I love the Kona blend coffee at the Polynesian GCH.

I second that! In fact, that's usually the first thing I do upon arrival is go visit the little Kona cart next to Kona cafe. ohhh, cannot wait for a latte

Sheesh, am I the only person alive who *doesn't* want to see a Starbucks at Disney? It's bad enough I've got about 5 within 3 miles of my house here.... bad enough that they ran one of my favorite local coffee houses out of business when they opened up right next door to it downtown Athens, Ga....

.... but at Disney? No way! I'd be really angry if that day ever comes! I'll get a Starbucks at home maybe once a week, but let's face it: the coffee there isn't really even all that good. :confused3

I am sorry, but a lot of America would disagree. Their coffee may not be anything special, but IMO the lattes are fabulous.

I do not mean to come across snippy, but I would like to be politically correct for a moment, if I may.

Anger being provoked by seeing a Starbucks in WDW seems a trifle extreme, maybe I misunderstood your statement.

You do not have like it (and many do not) and I am sorry you lost your favorite coffee house:(, but if Starbucks was the reason they went out of business, it would appear to me you sort of stand alone in your area of the country thinking they are not that great. They can only go out of business because people are going elsewhere. Starbuck's did not put them out of business, people not visiting them did.

I still wish they would put a Starbucks in, maybe in DTD. Of course, that would be a long trek in the morning for a $5 latte.

:) I will definitely have to check out the cappucino at L'Alfredo's. I love a good cappucino, but am always afraid to buy one from those carts for fear that it will be nasty - and we all know that they are really nasty at many places. I guess I'll have to be more adventuresome and give some a try - I may luck up!

Me too! I wish there was someplace at the parks where you could get a decent latte.
