Starbucks on Main Street

I actually love that there is Starbucks coffee at the parks, here at home i mainly support smaller local coffee shops because there are so many good ones. However, sometimes you just want a cinnamon dolce latte with soy or some other drink that only Starbucks makes.

I was a bit leery at first when the announced this. However as soon as I saw it for myself on Main St I was very happy. It fits right in to the theming of each location they are in and is a nice option. Considering previous coffee options were not good, I am satisfied with Sbucks.

I have no issues with Starbucks being there , before or now. Glad coffee drinkers can get their coffee BUT - I miss Main St Bakery. I love bakeries - but can't get particularly excited about Starbucks pastries. Now MK doesn't have much to offer in the way of a bakery.

I was, and still am, indifferent. I'm not a huge Starbucks drinker and only go with my friends when they ask if we can. I wasn't necessarily opposed to Starbucks being added and I'm still not very heated about it.

you cannot redeem rewards in the 4 locations in the parks, however, you can redeem rewards at the Disney Springs locations.

I thought it would be a bit lame, but really like it. The coffee is great and it doesn't look out of place at all.

While the partnership is likely rooted in dollars, it's really about service. Disney is notorious for having terrible coffee. Partnering with Starbucks, a world leader in the coffee industry, makes perfect sense because customers value it. Main Street still looks the same, but the coffee is better.

Disney had terrible coffe because they partnered with Nescafé. If they had been able to get Joffreys to have the needed volume it would have been great. They were there during the Nescafé days and are still there as far as I know.

I just wish they would serve Starbucks brand coffee in the resort CL lounges and in the rooms.

Not sure about lounges but they have joffreys in the rooms and that's a really decent coffee imo.

My kids adored their breakfast sandwiches and had to have one at each park every morning (except Epcot where we had PPO ADR). I enjoyed starting the day with a strawberry smoothie.

If we ever get to go back, we will make it a tradition.

Seeing how Starbucks and Joffrey's are both in all the other locations I can't see that is why they aren't in MK but who knows

You'd assume they'd have no problems removing the alcohol but that is a huge money maker. Maybe they aren't willing to compromise on that one offering

I don't mind Starbucks in Main Street. It is not glaring SB from the outside and I like to coffee, so it works for me. I will say that as much as I like having it on Main Street, if there was one in Tomorrowland I think that would be nice. There are tables and chairs there that you can actually find open. I just do not understand how Disney thinks the concept of standing with your food and beverage is fun for folks.

I'm not a coffee drinker (My DW & DD are though) and really don't care for Starbucks as a company and their public statements. But with that said, I really don't care one way or another if there is a Starbucks or not on Main Street.

The Starbucks coffee doesn't bother me - I don't drink coffee but the change in menu does. Which is why I did not vote for the Chairman of Starbucks as a Disney Board member!
