Starbucks mobile ordering

I thought I had read that people have ordered their drinks, breakfast items on mobile ordering with Starbucks in Downtown Disney early in the morning. Then picked up their items on their way to rope drop. But when I look in the Disneyland app, Starbucks doesn't show mobile ordering? Is that no longer an option or maybe I misunderstood?

You have to use the Starbucks app to mobile order from the downtown Disney locations.

As the PP said, you have to use the Starbucks app to place a mobile order. If you do, make sure you select the correct Starbucks location because there are two of them in DTD (one is next to World of Disney, the other is closer to the DLH).

Ok thanks. I did go to the Starbucks app and see I can order. But just checking things and I see a lot of items are already sold out (coffee cake, blueberry muffin, etc), so may have to modify what we like or just hope that we order it early enough and it's still there.

Yeah- Mobile ordering in this case is through Starbucks, not Disney No mobile ordering through either for the locations inside the parks but, as mentioned, it does work well to order via the Starbucks app and pick up on the way. Obviously it depends a little on which direction you are coming in from but we were coming from PPH and we tried both locations and the "West" one near the DLH was definitely less busy but also seemed to be less organized and we ended up waiting longer for the drinks to be ready there but it could have been a one off situation.

This is good to remember. I learned it after ordering from the wrong one once, then forgetting the next time (several months later) which one was which . Obviously, I'm directionally challenged! No idea which way is west when I'm there.

I assume that the DTD Starbucks are similar to the ones around town. They don't always get shipments of everything in every day, so things can show as sold out (unavailable) for multiple days. I've also found that (on occasion), things might actually be in stock, but the mobile order app hasn't been updated yet. It's just some things to keep in mind when mobile ordering from Starbucks.
