Starbucks is coming to town

and I am sure many of you are saying so!!!!!

I live in a small town in the NE of Scotland and have to travel 50 miles for decent shops and a coffee

I opened our local paper and there it is - they are looking for staff for a branch they are opening here

Civilisation has reached us at last

Just need Debenhams,John Lewis,Top Shop,H&M, French Connection and many many show shops to find us now

A few years ago we didn't have any cafes in our small town then we got Starbucks, followed by a bookshop and a restaurant becoming cofee shops, followed by cafe Nero, Costa, Tchibo and goodness knows how many chain restaurants and a small shopping centre with lots of flats above it.

It's not the quiet little town I moved to 20 years ago.

Enjoy Starbucks but I hope you don't get all the other changes that we did.
