I think this is the perfect solution for WDW Nescrape coffee! :yay:

My local Starbucks had samples available. I just made a cup and have to say it's not bad for instant coffee. I does taste like Starbucks coffee. I had the Columbian blend. It honestly wasn't bad.

So far, it's only available in Chicago or Seattle. All Starbucks locations do have samples, just not any for sale yet.

The only downside is that one packet makes an 8oz cup. For those of us that like BIG mugs of coffee, this can get expensive. There's 12 packets in one box that sells for $9.95.

I think I'm going to order a box for our WDW trip.

My other thought, is trying the 8 o'clock instant coffee (the one in tea-like bags). Has anyone tried those? Pete claims 8 o'clock makes a good cup of coffee, I'm wondering how the instant is?:confused3

I would probably really like this, but it is a little pricey. I will have to keep an eye out for samples.

oh for a seattle's best on property, star bucks over roasts the beans... but there are enough places on property to get decent real coffee, that they are not too far out of your way.

I'm drinking a free Colombian sample as I type. It's ok, not the revolutionary development they billed it as. I also have a an Italian Roast sample. Maybe that will have a little more kick. Given a choice, I'll pay the premium good cup of joe, but I don't think this warrants a premium.

As for the Nescafe, I can live with it while I'm on property. There are times where quantity wins out over quality. Just keep the caffeine flowing;)

As WO points out, there are enough places to get a decent cup if you are jonesing for it.

BTW, first post ever. Long time listener/lurker.

I guess the caffeine made me do it. :rotfl:

People feel very strongly about their coffee.:rotfl: I have to admit I like Starbucks coffee. I also completely understand why people don't. I find the coffee they serve in the parks makes my stomach upset. I usually just bring my own and make it in the room.

Did you get the samples at the Starbucks store? I might have to stop off sometime this week.

I like Starbucks also. I got the samples at a Starbucks near Grand Central in NYC. They weren't just handing them out. It's almost like the barista sensed my coworker and I were coffee junkies... 'pst hey guys check this out'.
The registered card for free refills gave us away.

Hey second post ever. This is why I resisted posting for sooooo long.

I will try to look like I am coffee junkie. I don't think it will take much work at all.:rotfl2:

My Starbucks wasn't handing out samples either. I asked the barista if the instant coffee was for sale yet. He said only in Seattle & Chicago so far and gave me a sample.

Ask for it, don't bother looking around for it :)

I can't stand WDW coffee. I know there's good coffee at the kiosks in AK and Epcot, but I need a cup as soon as I wake up. This fits the bill as I don't have to pack a coffee pot! :thumbsup2

We don't have Seattle's Best in NYC. I've had it on RCCL Explorer of the Seas and it was very good and free, even better! :rotfl2:
