Is there anything comparable to Starbucks anywhere in the world? We're staying at ASMo & POR and I can't live without my chai lattes in the morning...

Do they have coffee pots in the rooms at either of those resorts??

Any recommendations?

POR probably has a coffee maker in the room. You could just buy the chai liquid mix, from your local Starbucks and make you own. :goodvibes I use to work for Starbucks and let me tell you that was a hard habit to break. lol.

Apparently there's a Starbucks stand at the Shades of Green! I'm very excited about that one since I'm staying there.

Maybe I'll drive over there!!! But I am renting a car, so I might also just drive to Starbucks and buy the chai mix.

The liquid Chai mix at starbucks is great. Make your own latte! It's what I do at home when I don;t venture out for the day.

Starbucks esque as in specialty drinks? If so, just about any bakery in the World has specialty drinks. Also there is a place in Hollywood Studios called the writers stand or something like that and they have specialty drinks. As far as the best coffee, I've been told that Kona's Cafe in the poly is the place to go. Rumor is that all of the coffee in the rest of the world is instant nescafe due to some kind of agreement.

We stayed at POR in Oct and there are 4 cup coffee pots in each room. But no filters:confused3 We also had a car so got filters from the closest Walmart but they were hard to find and I ended up with 200 for an eight night stay! Bought coffee and milk there too - there are also fridges in those rooms.

Bringing a 12 cup maker from home with coffee and filters for our Nov trip since Dsis and Dbil are also coffee drinkers!

I don't drink coffee (my poison is Diet Mt Dew, LOL!) but I often go to the World on mother daughter trips with my mom, who is a coffee addict. There's a coffee stand on the way to MS in Epcot that sells the specialty flavors (hazelnut, etc) that my mom raves about. She says its her favorite coffee in WDW.

Just a word of advice from a fellow coffee lover - The coffee at the resorts and in the rooms is AWFUL.

They do have a few places like Kona at the Poly and that place at EPCOT. But if you love coffee so much that you love Starbucks, you are not going to like the coffee at WDW. It is nasty. That really is my only complaint about the world.

Bring your own maker and coffee. Seriously.

I think I'm just going to go to Starbucks and get the chai mix and just make my own in the room - and buy a half gallon of milk or something. I'm getting a rental car to go and pick up some things on the first day and visit some friends, so hopefully my mornings won't totally suck!!
