Star Wars......?

Okay so....I finally gave in. I watched it. Well, the first two episodes. My friend talks about it all the time and so I finally did it. Yup, I watched Star Wars.

Before I watched it, I didn't know much except what I had saw from the youtube clips I watched for my friend... I thought it was all about "I am your father" and robots. But really, it's so much more than that, as my friend has showed me.

So yup, now I feel like I have to go watch POTC. I really liked the first two episodes though, I'll watch the others when I get back from vacation.

So...who wants to talk 'bout Star Wars. I'm kinda in the mood right now.

I've attempted to watch it,but it's just too old and boring for my taste.

Haha, you should watch Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Those two, with Padme and Anakin. Awww, oh no! I shouldn't give anything away.

WHAT is Star Wars about exactly?

I've attempted to watch it,but it's just too old and boring for my taste.
I never really understood it.

Actually, they're not old. It's a drama, a love story, and an action movie all rolled into one. You'd have to have somethings explained to you, I think. Like I did.

As a huge star wars fan! I would suggest watching them in the order they were originally released. The first movie ever released was Stars Wars "A NEW HOPE" released in 1977. The second movie released in 1980 was Star Wars "EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" (IMO THE BEST ONE!) and in 1983 the trilogoy concludes with "RETURN OF THE JEDI"

The original trilogoy is a million times better than the newer trilogy. I def would have not as been interested if i watched EPISODE I a phatom menace first IMO its TERRIBLE!!!!

Star Wars is essentially about the life story of Anakin Skywalker and how he turned to evil (dark side)

Well, I'm watching them in Episode order, or I'll get confused. I like the new stuff...

Oh and btw, I guess I'm one of the few who actually really like The Phantom Menace. I just...did. Anakin was such a cutie in that movie.

My friend is teaching me lightsaber combat. It's rather funny. Once I master basics, we'll probably work on form VII. You know, Vaapad. (It's how Mace Windu fights.) And I'm actually serious when I say that I practice basics.

star wars is a really massive saga haha... but i gotta say.. imo, its just "OK"... i think most of the hype was because back than, sci fi films were never that great.. star wars had ground breaking effects for its time, and the solid storyline added to its greatness.. i think its one of those "it was the first of its kind" type of things that made it so huge....

but with todays standards, i kinda get bored with the originals (ive seen all of them lol)... they are good movies, but i think theyre over-hyped

I hadn't really heard much about it before I became friends with Jaimie and Jess. So I'm not going to flame you, of course. I think the movies are a lot more than most people think.

I know they're much more than I thought they were.
