Star Wars Weekends - Share Your Advice

Star Wars Weekends are coming up starting at the end of May and running through the middle of June. I'll be at the last weekend. I attended the very first Star Wars Weekend and simply loved seeing the Storm Troopers hanging out at the top of the Hollywood Studios (MGM Studios back then) marquee as we approached the entrance to the park. I've only been to one since then.

This event has greatly increased in popularity over the years. What are some of your tips and tricks to avoid the crowds (if any)? What do you enjoy most about the weekends?

I don't think there are many ways to avoid the crowds.
I've been to quite a few of the weekends during the past few years. I'm actually one of those nuts that get there HOURS before the park opens; just to get an autograph from one of the Star Wars actors. I gotta say though, most of the early goers are quite friendly and definitely help to make time go past swiftly (sort of anyway).

It does kinda suck when some of the people in the front of the line let their late arriving friends in.

We'll be there from May 27th to June 4th. What time do you suggest getting there in the morning? Is it easy to get there early with the Disney busses? We're staying at AKV.

All I can say is I'm soooooo jealous Aaron. I would so love to go to one of the Star Wars Weekends. Have a great time.
