Is this true? I just heard that, but haven't seen anything about it here.

NNOOOOOOO!!! :earseek:
Say it isn't so....
We were hoping to avoid that!!! Arriving on the last day...June 12
We've been there during SW weekend....purely by accident...and it was so crowded at MGM...you literally could not move! :earseek:

Dh and I went last weekend, and it was crowded like that. However, this will make ds(11) so happy if it is true. We had booked rooms June 10-12 so that they could get all the Star Wars stuff in, but maybe we won't need to stay there, if we can go back another weekend.

We went the first weekend and I agree - it was PACKED !! When we walked over by Star Tours we could barely move !! :guilty:

I would love to hear it had been extended. My son (turning 8 on this trip) is a new fan of Star Wars and would love it! :earboy2:

please please please!!!!! i am so upset! i didn't want to miss it, but we are not getting there until the 24th!

Seeing this on 2 other unofficial websites, but nothing official from Disney. Fingers crossed for DS's sake.

Which websites are you referring to? I have only seen it on wdwmagic

Just got back from SWW. It WAS mobbed!! As we were leaving. We got there to MGM at 9:05 for a 9:00 opening. We got to see Vader, the Emperor, Chewbacca, Jedi Mickey, a couple other characters, hit the store, and see the movie. We were done by 11:30.

Most of the crowd in the morning was at SWW, so I would figure RnR and ToT had minimal waits.

It's like anything else at Disney... Go early. Nap hard. Play late.

I got a canned response with all the details about SWW. It did not even address my request to confirm or deny if they were extending or not.

I don't think the rep even read my e-mail. I think she saw Star Wars, went into her file, copied and pasted and fired it off.

Annoying as heck
