The characters in the Darth Mall tent will be Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2.

When I'm in line they usually tell me they need min. 20 min. to leave and to get to the parade; they start cutting off the line about 45 min. before the parade.

We were posting in the same time!!

That is what I thought. Once again, I made my lunch ADR a little later than I should have since we don't care to sit in the heat for the parade again. D-OH!

JTA: sign up by the FP machines for Indiana Jones, your child needs to be there to sign up for JTA
It's possible to do both as long as the times are not the same

Is the new "Make your own Droid Factory" only located in the DHS store? Is it located in one of the stores in DTD (similar to make a lightsaber)? I know my DS(11) would want to make one or two droids.

One other observation. I was in the front row for Behind the Force. The celebrities look like white sillouettes on stage. The lighting and my phone camera did not mix well. Even tried different settings and I have an 8 MP camera on my phone. When they came off the stage, the pics got great! My dh had the same problem but his pics are even worse than mine.

We signed up for the Carbon experience but we aren't there until next Saturday. If no one has posted details by, then I'll happily do so! But I'm sure someone here will beat me to the punch.

That's what I'm looking for. The snippets I have seen include the "warning sign" about hats, hair and makeup and that there is a "photo" that allegedly costs around $50 that is optional. Not much intel to be gathered there. I promise that if there is no review of the entire process by the 26th when I go through it, I will put one up.

be at the park around 6am, for more popular celebrities, like this years Ray Park a little earlier if possible...you'll see people lining up to the far right of the turnstiles (this is outside the park) get in the celeb line you want, the CM will start handing out wristbands and fps before the park opens. When they run out of fp (guaranteed autograph) they'll have a small number of standby ticket by number 1 thru x, this will not guarantee an autograph but if the celeb finishes signing all the guarantee fp in the session then they start taking standbys. Your fp will have a specific time (like from 10:15am to 10:25am). You go to the tent of your celeb at the corresponding time.
They are enforcing only one wristband/fp per person per day. This includes standbys so you can only meet 1 actor per day.

Thank you so much!!!! My sister and I want to get Ray Park's autograph, and plan to get to HS around 5:30...however my cousin will not be showing up until around 7:30 (with our park tickets) so I was super scared we wouldn't be able to get a FP without a ticket.

I'm guessing there was a black or other dark colored curtain behind the celebrities... with probably no light on it. The camera "sees" the dark, assumes it needs to increase the light for it, and then takes the picture. Unfortunately, that means anything that IS lit well gets blown out.

This is where having full manual adjustments on a camera helps. The 8MP really doesn't factor into the discussion.

The lines are extremely long. It chills out a bit at 12:30-1 but picks back up after 1.
At opening and around 9 to noon the wait was 2 hours to get IN TO the store.
Be ready to know if you want the stuff shipped to your room or front of park or home! There is a cast member in line having you fill it out if you are.

PLEASE...tell us if you have a discount!! It is a pain to re-ring things for a 10% discount so let us know if you are a disney chase visa or annual pass member or a cast member.

HAVE FUN. It was one of the best work days of my life and I will be here every day, mostly morning until mid afternoon so say hello and message me if you have any questions!!

What time does Darth's Mall open? 8am with the park? I feel like it had the same operating hours as the park last year.

This morning I got to work at 6:30 am and we let people in at 7 am.

Yes!! There was a black curtain behind them. I got a couple decent shots. Once those curtains opened towards the end of the show, my pictures got great!

Today the merchandise tent opened earlier because of the limited edition stuff, the park itself opened at 7:40am...I assume tomorrow it'll open around the same time, just get to the park around 7:15am for an 8am opening and you should be fine
