Star Wars Weekend Strategy, father/son trip

Here's the scoop:

Just booked a spur of the moment trip for me and my 14yo DS for June 11-14, staying at Pop. (All 4 of us are going to WL in early December)

68 days to go!

We will be leaving Philly around 6:50am, arriving Orlando 9:15am, checkin to hotel, stow luggage, head to MGM. Most likely do MGM most of Saturday and Sunday, as it is the last weekend of the Star Wars weekends.

Monday will be spent most likely at Epcot, and Tuesday at MK. May jump to MK Saturday or Sunday night to catch Specto/Wishes.

We have never been to a Star Wars weekend before (we have done Super Soap) - any tips or tricks on how to attack MGM?

One thing that might be fun is a trivia contest for Star Wars fans. They had one last year that I got to do, and it was a lot of fun. You have to sign up early in the day, so if you or your son want to participate you should find out where you need to go to sign up for it as soon as you get there.

Has it been confirmed that the SW parade is at noon? I read elsewhere that it's at 11 and made Sci-Fi Dine Inn reservations for 12:30!!!

I also have a PS for 12:30. I hope the parade will be over by then. Does anybody know?? Maybe if we could catch the beginning of the parade?? Last time we watched from the Star Tours area, but it was the ending. Can someone post the parade route so we can stake out a spot at the beginning. Thanks!
