I've read the official website info, which isn't much and I've read all the info here and at Deb's site, but nothing is very specific. It seems to be overly generalized...maybe I'm just wishing someone would post the schedule...if there is one...or something like who is expected to be there this year. Personally, I'm not heading to WDW to see a bunch of stormtroopers, but since we're there and it's Star Wars Weekend, DH is a bit excited so I thought I'd search for him.

Thus, my question...can anyone tell me more info about the 2005 Star Wars weekend or give me a link to find more info??? I would be grateful to make a 40something padawan happy!

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately they haven't announced any line-ups for celebrities as of yet.
With the big press push to support the last movie the stars are going to be very busy end April-June.
Here is a site to check http://www.starwars.com/community/news/2005/02/news20050221.html
However not really much more that we already know, but is supposed to post updates when available. Ho-Hum

Like the previous poster said, all the celebrities are going to be very busy with the movie coming out. The fact that they haven't announced anything yet is not a good sign IMO. When Episode II came out in 2002, no celebrities came for Star Wars Weekends. Hopefully they get someone this year. I plan on going to at least a couple of the weekends.

It's still a lot of fun without the celebrities. Be sure to check out the Star Wars trivia contest. Find out where to sign up for it when you enter the park, and get your DH on the list. I did it last year and did pretty well, and had a lot of fun. If he is a Star Wars fan he will love it.

You can also check this link at the disneyworld.com site:

Star Wars

There is not much info. posted here yet. I keep checking it every two to three days to see if the schedule of Star Wars celebrities has been posted. It seems like I read on another thread that Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker in Episode I, Phantom Menace) was scheduled to appear during the first weekend.

Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett) is scheduled for the first weekend. I hope they will announce the others soon.

It's a lot of fun just seeing the guests that show up in Star Wars costume.

It's a safe bet though that no one from EpIII will be available at all this year.

Thanks to everyone!! I will keep checking for more info here and at the websites ya'll suggested! If anyone makes it before us...and I'm sure ya will since we won't be there till the June 3,4,5 weekend, please post some true accounts here! I would appreciate it...
Oh, and Laura's Dad...thanks for the link so I could see the new SWW poster...too cool!!!

I'll keep checking...
