Hello -
My mom and I are taking DD to WDW May 14 -16. It's a very short trip, as it's 3 year old DD's 5th trip. We arrive on the 14th and plan to just hang out at the hotel and do a non-park character dinner.
Here is my dilemma. We were planning on doing MK all day the 15th. Although it's a Thursday and predicted to be a high crowd day, we managed to get our ADR and all our FP times, and because we were just there in Feb won't stress if we don't get to do every ride. We were planning on doing HS on Friday - as DD loves Disney Junior and we have the character breakfast booked. We planned on leaving early evening and heading back to my parents house just south of Orlando, where DD and I will spend the rest of the weekend.
I have been reading on line Star Wars Weekend starts on the 15th. While I doubt many star wars fans have a huge interest in Disney Junior, it does say the park will be significantly more crowded.
I am thinking of switching park days. I just rebooked our ADR's (and am now double booked until I talk to my mom tomorrow). The times aren't great, but I did get them all, just having to switch Hollywood and Vine to lunch instead of breakfast. Looks like we can still get FP's for our favorite attractions too.
My concern is I planned on staying at MK until wishes, and with this revised plan, I see us still leaving HS earlish on Thursday and then still needing to leave MK earlier than wishes on Friday. I am debating adding a park hopper option to my ticket so we can head over to MK Thursday evening (DD and Mom have Florida Resident Ap's). But, there is a high chance DD will be exhausted anyway and heading back the room isn't a terrible idea.
Thoughts? Like I said, it's not a major life problem, but we are only there two days and I would like to make the most of it.
