What is it?

• Disney's Star Wars Weekends is a festival held annually at the Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park of the Walt Disney World Resort. Included with park admission, the event typically occurs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for four consecutive weekends in May and June and features appearances by cast and crew members from Disney's Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. Many original Disney characters also appear dressed as Star Wars characters, such as Jedi Mickey, Minnie as Leia, Donald as a Stormtrooper, Goofy as Darth Vader. The festival began in 1997 and has been held in 2000, 2001, and annually since 2003.

When is the event scheduled to take place?

I will be updating this thread CONSISTENTLY so I need help from the community, and I need reviews from those who have actual participated in the even to give first hand experiences on what it is like! Now, do to it not being in the Magic Kingdom I might actually be able to go...lets make this thread the centralized thread for information and a bit about what Star Wars has to offer - I will be doing a TON of research just like my Christmas thread, and ensure that I bring everyone accurate info - and answer your questions to the best of my ability. Can anyone help me with basic reviews of the event? Is it worth it? What have your personal experiences been?
