The airfare for my June dates is really low right now!! I wish they would release the dates before the airfare goes up !! Come on !!!

We are already booked for June 10th so we are going regardless of the air fares and SW dates. I was relieved to see they will be held in June!!

Take this for whats its worth, but I got my wife the Birnhaum's Guide for 2007. We have used the book every year we have went to Disney. It has the weekends listed as May - June.

Just read in the Eyes and Ears (CM paper) that Star Wars weekend is in June. It didn't have any dates, but it did only say June. Hope this helps!

WHAT????? THAT would really mess me up!!!!!! We've gone in May the past several years so we could go to SWW. I know they usually do have some in June, but they usually start in May!!! Any more info on this>?????

My friend was looking on the Cast Portal and saw JUNE.... she then called the CM hotline and was given a very rude response that no dates have been determined yet... Take that for what it's worth....

FWIW, here's the e-mail reply I received to my inquiry about SWW dates. Note the June reference in parenthesis:

"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

At this time, the dates and times for the event of your inquiry have yet
to be established. Please check back for updated information. General
information about special events that are currently available at the
Walt Disney World Resort may be obtained from our Web site:

(The tentative time is June, 2007)

us."

I hope they decide SOON !!!. . . the airfares keep going up !

Sad to say but it looks like June 2007 is the time frame for Star Wars Weekends, not May/June.

I would just DIE if SWW was not in May this year. It's been in May and June every year since it started and DBF and I booked our trip for Memorial Day weekend SPECIFICALLY for SWW!!! We paid $400 for airfare EACH!!!!!!!! I will be anxiously awaiting the release of the dates.

Us too!!! We have rooms and airfare done too. My totally agreeable husband who is just going along for the ride said we can change the airfare and reservations when the dates are announced. I hope that we don't need to.

Was at MGM at the end of October and went to Star Tours early in the AM and was given a Magical Dream to go behind the scenes of the ride! The ride MGR said we were the first family to get the dream, my 2 DS's 9 & 6 were crazy excited anyway along story short I asked about SWW for 07 and the MGR said due to the response the past couple years that it was being held the ENTIRE month of June! Also said they've been trying to get George Lucas to approve a new ride but it's a $$$ issue.

I made plans for May as well thinking Star Wars Weekends would be the typical time. However, I am not cancelling if the dates are moved.

Note that they mention a signing in mid-June at one of the resorts !! WoooHooo - Now I'm really hopeful for the weekend of the 6th! - Come on and ANNOUNCE THOSE DATES !!!

OK - I know this deviates a bit from the thread, but how do you get those adorable figurines?? Are they available at Disney or is it a dog fight to get one? My son would LOVE it!

Our current plans are for June so I hope it works out for all of the May people too!!

As it appears these are limited edition figurines, you'll most likely have to wait in a long line to get one. The limited edition big figure last year was Jedi Mickey. It sold out on the first day of the first Star Wars weekend. I was at the first Star Wars Weekend last year in May. All of the collectable merchanside (pins, plush characters, figurines) was only available on one location off Mickey Ave. If you did not get in line for the merchandise warehouse immediatley after Disney-MGM Studios opened, you were looking at a three to four hour wait in line.
