star wars science fair project

It's science fair time. Anyone have any star wars theme science fair project ideas? I tried google but there wasn't anything exciting - just craft ideas nothing that could be used for science fair. Thought I'll ask the dis!!!! Thanks!!

Forced science fair participation, the most sure fire way to turn the average kid off of science and to cause a fight between kids and parents!

As to the question, you could do a variation of: Does music effect plant growth? Just use the Star Wars sound tracks for the music.

As @kdonnel suggested just take any science project suggestion you find and theme it via Star Wars. Use the music, planet names, SW figurines within dioramas, etc.

How about a project about how when the X-wing and Tie-fighters shoot at each other in space you wouldn't really be able to hear it.

It was a little older age group but I remember one where they proved heart rate would go up by playing a video game (could use a Star wars one,)

We were forced to participate in our school’s science fair in 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades and I despised it. My projects were always poorly done because I hated it so much.

They start the forced science fair here in first grade! It's crazy! And they are not judged everyone gets a ribbon and they're not graded so what's the point - why make them do it just have it optional then? Some kids had laptops set up - you know their parents did the project for them. Trying to find something that would be fun rather than the dozen volcanos and slime that every kid does now.

They already have STEM class. Their school is very science orientated to begin with. They actually cut back on the music program to make STEM everyday. We miss the music - they cut out band. Not here to debate the whole science and music thing. Just looking for project ideas.

My son wanted to do a science fair project on making a real light saber LOL. We modified it so that his project was on light and color, and he used the light sabers in his illustrations
