On one of our last disney trips over the past 2 years, we were in MGM and had just ridden star tours, when we see in the store attached that you can put your face in a picture of a star wars character... So, my sister and I decide to take one of these pictures and for some reason they talked me into posing as hans solo. My sis was princess lea...haha. I am still made fun of for that picture, but it is really funny.:hyper:

Okay - obviously I used the Search for this one. Does anyone know how much these pictures cost? DH is a HUGE Star Wars fan and I'd love to have a picture of our family made. I know they had several pictures to choose from depending on how many people were in you party. It is me, DH and 2 DSs. Does anyone know if there are any layouts that would "fit" us? Does anyone have any of their pictures they could post?

I'm sure they would be glad to charge you, but when we were there last the figures were just standing in the gift shop and anyone could put their face in and take a picture. Sure that during star wars event it will be busier!

Nope, that's not the same thing. They take a picture of you in front of a plain screen, looking in a specific direction (according to the pose of the character in the layout you choose) and then put it up on a big screen and manipulate it, recoloring your skin color, etc. and your face is morphed into that character. For Chewbaca, they'd use your face picture but change your color to match his fur color. This is done on a computer but they put it up on a big screen while they are working on it. It is really cool.

My daughter did it a couple of years ago but I'm sorry I don't remember the price.(20- 30$ maybe) I don't think it was cheap! But it's Disney so what is?! Sometimes you just gottta do it anyways! :cool1:

We did this couple of years ago. Son was around 2 and he was Anakin and I was Luke. It was like 25 dollars, but that was in 04

We did it last June. I was Padme, DH was Mace (they matched his skin tone), DS7 was Obi-Wan, and DS5 was Anakin. It is one of my all time favorite pictures!!! My DH is really hot as a bald black man! :lmao: And I love seeing my DS5 with tons of hair! :cool2: I can't remember the price, but it was well worth it! We will probably do it again this year. :goodvibes

It is one of the things my kids are most looking forward too. I guess for $25-30 they had all better get in one picture...LOL. My husband will be thrilled that they can "change" him into Mace Windo.
