How long do you suppose an electric Autopia car might last? And how long to charge the battery?

I agree it would better fit with the theme but when you think about the logistics of it, I don’t think it will happen for a long time unless they can come up with a method to charge the cars on the track.

The issue with Autopia is it is sponsored by Honda and they don't (yet) have an EV.

So, the cars won't change until the sponsor wants them to change to reflect what they sell.

If Imagineers can figure out ways to store or transfer energy in better ways than we can today, they would make a heck of a lot more difference and money doing so at a car company.

Imagineers aren’t actually magical.
