Star Wars Land

Where will Star Wars land be built? What is it replacing? I loved ToonTown when I visited, and I'm hoping it's still there. Since WDW lost theirs though, I was afraid that maybe that's what DL was replacing.

It's being built over mostly backstage areas, but they also closed Big Thunder Ranch and the BBQ restaurant to make space. ToonTown is safe for now.

There has been no date announced. The attractions that have been closed to allow for development to begin show a closed date until end of 2020 so who knows when the new land will open:
