No love for Darth Maul?? My kids and I had an awesome interaction (that a disinterested Photopass photographer completely missed....ugh).

What I really miss is the Hoopla. The year they did Grease may have been my single favorite thing ever.

Disinterested Photopass photogs are the worst! The candid interactions are usually my favorite pictures, such a bummer when they miss it all and take a few posed photos.

I just want to meet Luke Skywalker, tbh.

Plenty of love for Darth Maul - I'd far rather see a M&G with him than Kylo (but I get it - current product sells - not the guy Lucas unceremoniously killed off 18 years ago moments after introducing him as the single most exciting and intriguing villain of the prequels - not that I'm bitter).

I think it's great they do the M&Gs with the main characters - even if personally that takes away the immersion for me (I'd rather see the obscure background characters, but know I'm in the minority). Where most people would get excited about Vader or Rey, I'm the guy that's thrilled to see if they're sly enough to station a Garindan around the Millenium Falcon ride.

Darth Vader and Boba Fett would make me very, very happy. The Boba Fett at the Galactic Breakfast during the one SWW was so awesome that I've been a Boba Fett fangirl every since.

I loved Maul's complete story arch on Clone Wars and Rebels, I think his actual death on Rebels was particularly interesting

Disney's trend over the last ten years has been to come up short on characters, so I'm not looking for a galaxy of characters in the new land. Probably just a few.

Who you saw in the parade was a member of the 501st... They did have Palpatine meet and greet years ago and also they bright him back for the villain's party

Wasn't Palpatine in Hoopla? Or was it video? I remember the face make-up was sad compared to the 501st's.

As somebody who has run a fully-functioning R2 unit at several events, kids can be a nightmare. You would not believe how nasty his dome gets after a couple of hours because of them putting their hands all over him. Kids try to climb on him, hit him, get in the way, break pieces off, etc. and parents encourage it. I've not yet run a kid over, but have come very close on several occasions to doing just that when they jumped in front of him at the last second. He and I both have to have our domes on a swivel.

I can imagine...They'd be the 1st to complain if their kid tripped while climbing it & the droid accidently bumps into it...But either way, That's a cool job..

He is; but the latest movie was Rogue One last year and Darth Vader was in that, not Kylo :/
