I see this is happening for part of our week...how should I adjust our planned park visits? What should I know ahead of time to avoid extra crowds etc?

Shouldn't negatively affect your park visits.
Don't expect extra crowds.

It should pretty much be over by 8:00-8:30AM.

If the route is the same as last year, parks should be clear by park opening except Epcot. I ran through between 9:15-9:30 and there were thousands behind me. The crowds were roped off and allowed to cross in waves. You may have a very short delay.

Traffic to AK, EP, and DHS could be impacted early Sunday morning. Disney manages it well though.

I would make no changes based on Star Wars marathon weekend other than it may take a few extra minutes to get to a park on Sunday morning.

ok thanks ya'll! I'm guessing Epcot is the 'busiest' for this, and it sounds like an early am thing so no worries.

The only issue we had last year is we were staying at a MK area resort and needed to get to a 7:30am ADR at the Beach Club on Sunday. All the roads were closed with detours/delays. So we switched our breakfast plans around. Friday and Sat don't really have much of an impact at all because the 5k and 10k are over early.
