We make our ADRs for our October trip tomorrow. Does anyone know if the Star Wars Fireworks show will still be running in October or just for the summer? If so what days do you think they'll be running and what time would you schedule dinner (50s PTC) to leave enough time to find a spot? Thanks.

Nobody even knows when it will begin, much less when it will end.
Dinner ADR at 6:30.

Yes, I know that everything is in limbo between HS and all the waiting to figure out AK evening hours, and Epcot and not knowing how the reopening of Soarin and Norway will affect things. I'm just wanting to book ADR's based on hypothetical guessing as that's all Disney is leaving for us right now.:o This is the first trip I have had to plan with FP+ and then on top of it all the problems with Disney not releasing a solid calendar in advance.:scared1: It's been a harder trip to plan so I am just booking around educated guesses and hoping that I can switch if everything goes askew. Thank you for a time guess. :disrocks:

I asked the same question when I called Disney for ADR assistance a couple weeks ago and the CM told me that she didn't expect SW fireworks to extend beyond summer. I know the phone CMs don't have all of the answers but thought I'd share what I was told because DH and I were both hoping to plan for the fireworks in September.

I am really hoping they have the fireworks this fall. We saw the current show last week and loved it. If they are making a new launch area/show I would hope it would be a long term thing but who knows?

The feeling on the Star Wars thread is that the fireworks will continue for a while. This is just a feeling and isn't based on any inside or factual info that I know of. It seems reasonable though that it could continue through Fall, especially since they are moving the launch site to accommodate construction. The fireworks this year have been starting as early as 8pm and running as late as 9:45pm. So, 6:30pm would be the latest I would want to do an ADR to hit the 8pm show. I would probably do 6pm, just so that I had plenty of time to get the spot I want.
