One of these years I will get to SWW. Probably not until 2011 though. Question--do you have to pay for autographs at SWW? Just wondering, I worked for Official Pix at Celebration 4 and part of my "reward" for working was a complete set of all the Official Pix photographs from there, it would be cool to get some of them signed. It is always good to work the last shift, they give you the entire set of photographs at the end of the con, I got 10 which were autographed as well.

Another thing I would love about SWW is shopping!

Didn't used to cost anything, I assume it still doesn't. It's first-in-line first-to-get-the-fastpass.

Just over a month and a half away from the first weekend! Still no list of celebrites that will be appearing at Star Wars Weekends! :confused3
I have been checking several sites including Disney's and No names yet! What is the deal? If they are going to wait untill 30 days out they could at least tell us that! :headache:
Sorry! Needed to vent!

Sounds like par for the course in terms of when they announce the celebrities. I've heard rumors that David Prowse(wore the Darth Vader suit), Jeremy Bulloch (OT Boba Fett), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), and Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett) will be attending at some point.

Personally, I'd be thrilled if Mayhew's there over one of my two SWW. Prowse would be awesome as well.

Keep in mind that while celebrities appearing may be subject to change, StarWars.com has released the celebrity list for Star Wars Weekends 2009. While it may not be on WDW's site yet, this is official because it's from StarWars.com.

I'm excited for Peter Mayhew since I'll be there for Friday of the 2nd weekend.

Hi there. Have a question for those who have been to the SW days at HS before. I'm going with 2 other friends and I am by far the biggest SW fan of the group. One other girl enjoys SW. However, I am not a fan of big crowds. For those who have going to HS during the SW days, how bad is it? We will be ending our trip on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, first weekend of SW. We were thinking of going there on Saturday and then heading out of town. I know it will be crowded, but is it worth the crowds? I won't be interested in autographs, the other girl that likes SW will want pics with characters dressed in SW stuff. Just trying to figure out what the best plan is ahead of time. Thanks!

I haven't been on Memorial Day but I've been in May and I've been in June.

There will be some sections of the park that will be crammed. The stage where the kids train with lightsabers, the area around Star Tours, etc. They should have Star Wars character meets scattered all around the park and in some of those spots, there were very few people.

The thing I've liked best about it was just walking along and running into <insert random SW character>.

Thanks, Grumpy. Meant to note earlier that allears.net also had a listing of the SW people who would be out on the weekends. Can't remember who for every weekend, though.

From my limited, secondhand experience the worst lines will be for exclusive merchandise and celebrity autographs. I've heard the lines can also get intense for the Jedi Mickey, Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy, and Stormtrooper Donald.

Thanks, Knight! That will be something to keep in mind, as one of my friends is going to want pics of the characters dressed in SW costumes. Thanks!

How sad is this? I'll be there two weeks before SWW starts....and again three weeks after it ends.

I'm cursed, guys. Cursed.

:goodvibesHey Everyone! I don't know about you , but I'm getting excited!:cool1: I was surprised and glad to see Ray Parker (Darth Maul) is one of the Celebs the first weekend!:woohoo: I'm at 16 Days and counting!:dance3:

It seems so far away on account of all the work I have to do beforehand, but I fly to Orlando two weeks from today.

We've been a couple times. The exclusive merchandise and the autograph FP had the worst lines. However, when we were there. The dark side people had shorter lines than the good side of star wars. The "good" people, lines were so much longer. Like a 45 min wait to see chewbacca and an ewok....

I love SWW. I've gone the past 4 years, and had a blast (this will be my first year not there since 2004). My favorite thing to do is meet the characters (I loved getting to meet Leia Minnie, Vader Goofy, and Trooper Donald last year). I hope to go again next year.

Hey everyone!:surfweb:
I just saw that althought there have been only 34 messages exchanged there has been over 1000 viewing of this thread!:woohoo:
This is a Shameless Bump!
Oh Yay, Woo Hoo! Just less than a week!!

Oh Yeah!!:dance3::banana:

A week from tomorrow I will be on the airplane heading for Star Wars Weekends.

Hey guys, post some pics when you return. I love seeing pictures from this. I'm one of those that always ends up going right before or right after too....but oh well. I'll catch it one of these days.

Well there we go again! Another year and more Star Wars Weekends!
I'm going May 18-28 ,so I'll be able to get autographs from 2 sets of Celeb Guest.:cool1:
