Has anyone does the Star Wars Dessert party with a wheelchair. I know the dessert party itself is totally accessible. But how is the viewing? I know they have a childrens section. Do adults in chairs have okay viewing? Thanks all!

I honestly haven't read that chairs are provided for guests. Many sites I've read say that you stand and that includes children as far as a children's section that's news to me as well. Where are you getting your information? I'd like to read it as well.
For wheel chair I would call Disney Disabilities Service (407) 827-5328. If they don't know the answer they will find out for you.

Sorry, I was not clear. My husband and I are both full time wheelchair users with our own chairs. I was more concerned whether we would be able to see anything from the reserved section that comes with the party.

We did the Star Wars Dessert party back in January, on one of the first nights.

IT WAS AWESOME!!! Some of the best Disney fireworks I have ever seen in person.

At the time, they had reserved the first row (so no one would be standing in front of you) along the rope for wheelchair and ECV users.

The hardest part for you may just be getting back and forth for the drinks & desserts - once you are in place at your table along that row, it's a bit tough to navigate back through the tables and people to get to the serving stations. Plan ahead, and take what you can with you, maybe?

Having said all that, I do know that some changes have been made to the party. I am not certain how those changes may or may not have affected the H/C seating/viewing area.
