Star Wars Dessert Party Solo

Hello,

I am looking for any reviews or advice on the star wars dessert party. Did people feel it was worth time and money spent?
Also, I will be solo and am wondering if it would be awkward to do this?

Below is the link to the main SW thread which includes a lot of info about the SW dessert party. Warning, there's a knucklehead on there, aka Fastpasser, who thinks he knows a lot about the dessert parties. As he's been in attendance at dessert parties all over WDW hundreds times, I guess he should.
The live feedback and first hand observation, my sense is that most people think it's worth it. No, it shouldn't be awkward for you, but a lot will depend on you because it's very likely that you'll share a table with a few strangers. It's what you make of it.

Other than it taking place inside the Launch Bay and the Stormtroopers walk throughs, the actual party area is not that heavily SW themed. The food & beverage selection is very good, not that I have tasted it. Actually I have but don't tell the managers. Tables are preassigned so you can arrive anytime.

I have done it twice solo, once with the whole fam. Enjoyed it every time. You will have the opportunity to meet some other WDW/Star Wars fans at your table. Always had pleasant convo and made new friends! So great to get out of the crowd and fluster of staking out a spot for the show. So worth it to enjoy a party, some food and drink, and an escort to reserved spots. Do it and enjoy!

I did it solo last year. It is my favourite dessert party they offer.

It's the only one i'd do again.
