I have been looking for the answers to my question through search and cannot find them.

There was a dessert party available for my date at 7:00. I went to book and only 7:45 was available.

Are there two(or more) check in times?

Is 7:45 enough time when the show is at 9:00?

Can I check in and gain entrance earlier than 7:45?

Thanks!!

If the fireworks are at 9pm then 7:45 is the usual check in time. If they have earlier times then yes you can check in whenever the event space is set up and the CMs are out in the court yard.

Not clear on what you mean by that.

If those are the times, then yes, there's enough time.

There's no point in doing it, but you can check in about 75 minutes before the published start time, but you won't be allowed into the dessert area before 7:30. The actual start time will be 7:30.

I asked if there were more check in times. I wondered if groups got different check in times maybe 15 minutes apart to avoid long lines.

Also, why would it start at 7:30 if check in isn't until 7:45?

When we attended the show was a 7:45, and our party was called for 6:30. I had read you could check in as early as 6, which we did and they told us that the party would open at 6:15. We looked around and watched the movie in the party building and when we went down to the party just after 6:15 there were already a good number of people there.

Everyone checks in during the long-ish check-in time which begins very early and goes well past the beginning of the party. There are 3 CMs at the check-in area, so no long line.

Check-in begins well before 7:45 if it's a 7:45 party. The time when guests are allowed in to the food area is 15 minutes before the published start time. It's just the way it's done.

Two reasons why that might have been the case. If it was a SW tour day, those guests are allowed in before non-tour guests. Or the people already inside just checked-in before you and got in as soon as it opened at 6:15. Some people arrive, check-in and get in line very early.
