Star Wars Dessert Party info Please

I am on the fence about the Star Wars Dessert Party. It looks like there is a Disney Movie Magic show prior to the Star Wars show. Do you miss the Disney Movie Magic show if you do the dessert party?

That was the case in July...we missed the show. I don't think anything has changed since then.

Yes, they do not have it designed for you to attend the Movie Magic show.
