We are going on the January 9th Star Wars Day at Sea cruise and I was wondering if anyone knew when the actual celebration would take place. I am planning on making Palo brunch reservations but want to make sure we don't make it for the celebration day. Thanks!

Congratulations on your cruise! We'll be on the January 23rd sailing and I believe the Star Wars Day at Sea is replacing the day in Jamaica after Grand Cayman? Just to be safe, I would keep both sea days at the end of the cruise clear.

We always book Palo on the last night (Castaway Cay day on these cruises) and this way we get each restaurant in our rotation twice and a nice relaxing adults-only meal before we end the cruise.

Thanks for the input! When we've eaten in Palo for dinner, we've always booked the last night as well, however the past few times we have decided on brunch instead and like that a lot better. And since our platinum status only pays for one, we usually choose brunch.

I would book brunch for the first sea day -- very unlikely that Disney would do the Star Wars day at sea and then two ports. Enjoy that brunch -- just came back from the last Alaskan sailing and I can't stop regretting not eating another almond croissant (my favorite).

Thanks ajo! I looked back at my reservation confirmation email and it says Star Wars Day at sea is on Wednesday. We will be moving our brunch reservations. Thanks so much for the info!!
