Star Wars cruise....cheap costumes?

We are going on our first Star Wars day at sea cruise in March and we are needing some inexpensive costumes. Two kids and two adults. Characters are flexible just wanting something fun and reasonably priced. Any thoughts? Thank fellow cruisers!

Well, be sure to hit up the after Halloween sales (often just before Halloween) for cheaper costumes.

For a girl - a long white robe should work for Princess Leia (if you're going back that far). Or for an Ewok a brown poncho-type hood with two fuzzy ears sewn on works.

We found costume-like Star Wars pajamas at target pretty cheap. My husband wore what was effectively a storm trooper onesie, but it looked like a costume (plus it was super comfy)

We found ours at Kohls in the early spring at like 80% off. I would also suggest finding a local FB mom's or tag sale group and posting after Halloween what you're looking for - I'm sure there will be plenty of folks happy to offload soon-to-be-forgotten about costumes if you can't find what you like on clearance!

Speaking of - I should post my kid's costumes from last year (yes, he had multiple...grandmas, am I right?) to get the most $$ for them!

I just saw a few Star Wars masks at the One Spot at Target. I believe they were $3.

I believe DCL has a no masks policy.

Last I checked, it was no masks while walking because of safety concerns. This was a question many of my fellow 501st Legion members had.

Torrid has their R2D2, BB8, and Darth Vader dresses on sale right now (if one of the adults is a woman).

Otherwise, why not wait until right after Halloween and check out the 50% off costume sales at Halloween stores?

Target also has buy one get one 50% off this week. Since you're buying several, that's a decent discount.
