Star Wars Characters

Does anyone know the best way to try to see Star Wars characters at MGM (or anywhere else, for that matter)? We, unfortunately, won't be there during Star Wars weekends, but DD8 is a BIG fan and would be so thrilled to see any.

As far as I know, Darth Vader and the occassional storm trooper make appearances periodically outside of Star Tours at MGM. There also are several Star Wars characters (Vader, Luke, Leia, droids) in the parade at MGM. No real photo/autograph opportunities with the parade, but it's your best chance for guaranteed SW character sightings.

Check your times guide for the day. Also hang out by the speeder or check there often, we have had our pics taken w/Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Stormtroppers and Chewbacca in that area.

We had a lot of luck hanging out by the Star Tours ride. As said by previous poster, check the times guide at the front entrance with the maps. The person escorting the characters can tell you who is scheduled for that day also. They told us Darth Vader would be coming out in another hour so we waited to see him.

Check the times guide when you arrive at the park or ask a CM. We've gotten photo ops with both Stormtroopers and Darth Vader outside of Star Tours. Good luck

On a non-SWW day, the best you can hope for is Darth Vader and/or a Storm Trooper for meet-n-greet.

When I was at MGM in October... we walked past Star Tours, and in a little area over by the shop, we saw Darth Vader and Stormtroopers greeting guests. The line was incredibly LONG! They had been out for like 3 minutes, and the line was already closed. When i went into the shop, the CMs said that they come out randomly, and don't have set times....

Didn't see any SW characters near Star Tours this past Friday (we only hung out there about 30 minutes mid afternoon.) Did love them in the parade though!
